The layers of wood glued together are arranged in a specific order:
  1. layer is the top. It is mainly made from valuable species of wood, such as that familiar to everyone: maple, walnut, cherry, oak, as well as more expensive exotic ones, for example: wenge, teak, acacia.
  2. the layer is medium. It consists of short slats made from HDF boards or conifers. The lamellas are glued together.
  3. layer - bottom, made of two millimeter plywood.

In choosing a parquet board you need to consider the thickness of the top layer. The more massive the top layer, the stronger the board. This is because this board sometimes requires grinding, and a thicker top layer allows you to carry out this procedure much more times.
