Snow-white apartment - a blank canvas for the artist
White color is an absolute favorite in choosing a palette for decoration of premises. Not only apartments of modest sizes, attic spaces and rooms with asymmetric shapes need light colors. This time, we suggest you familiarize yourself with the apartment of one artist, in the spacious room of which there are many functional areas - from the kitchen to the art workshop.
The following functional segments are located in a long but not wide room:
- kitchen;
- dining room;
- cabinet;
- art workshop;
- living room.
In a separate room there is a bedroom with a bathroom. All spaces are finished using white color - the almost complete absence of borders between the ceiling, walls and floor creates the effect of smoothly flowing from one plane to another monolithic structure. Such rooms are like a blank canvas for furniture and decorative filling.
The living area is the only place in the apartment where contrasting combinations and the use of dark shades “defeated” the snow-white idyll. The recreation area is decorated using a ring layout - around the coffee table there are a sofa and a couple of armchairs, poufs and coasters act as additional furniture.
Original, but at the same time comfortable furniture, contrasting combinations as color ideas, colorful ornaments and patterns - the whole dynamism of the apartment is collected in the living area. The weightless design of tables and stands with thin metal frames effectively complement the cozy atmosphere of the recreation area.
In the kitchen and dining area, the white color completely absorbed the space, only the brilliance of stainless steel on household appliances and the frames of the original chairs, flickers in a snow-white shroud. The dining group is a very mobile composition - the little table on wheels is easy to move, the airy designs of the chairs are also not difficult to move.
The built-in kitchen surprisingly takes up little useful space of the apartment, but at the same time it is an organic alliance of the required number of storage systems, household appliances and work surfaces. Snow-white facades with holes instead of handles look modern and at the same time - original.
In a separate room there is a small bedroom. Due to the large amount of natural light that multiplies, reflecting off from the snow-white walls, the room is literally flooded with sun. A clean and bright image for a room where a calm and even soothing atmosphere comes first is the dream of many homeowners.
A small metal bed and a bedside table painted in pastel colors, a modest little table-stand - what else is needed for a comfortable arrangement of a berth for one person? Is that a couple of houseplants to dilute the snow-white palette with flowers of juicy greens.
Directly in the bedroom is the bathroom. The color preferences of the landlord in this utilitarian room have not changed - pastel shades of surface finishes only slightly shade the whiteness of the plumbing.
In a small bathroom space, all interior elements are aimed at saving space - using a shower instead of a bathtub, a cantilevered toilet with a built-in tank, a hanging sink, rounded shapes of all plumbing.
